Your name and contact details — email, phone number and address
Booking details — property size, the clean you've chosen, your preferred date and time, and any access notes you give us
Payment — taken securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details
Messages you send us by email or social media

3. How we use it

To provide your clean and manage your booking (contract)
To take payment (contract)
To give your assigned cleaner only what they need to do the job — your name, address, access details and the job itself; they are bound by confidentiality (necessary for the service)
To contact you about your bookings (contract)
To keep proper business and tax records (legal obligation)
To send offers or updates only if you've agreed — you can opt out at any time (consent)

4. Who we share it with

Your assigned self-employed cleaner (details needed for the job only), and trusted service providers who run our systems — Stripe (payment) and Netlify (website hosting). We share with authorities only where legally required. We never sell your personal information.

5. How long we keep it

Only as long as needed. Booking and payment records are normally kept for 6 years to meet UK tax rules, then securely deleted.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email insigniacleaningservice@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Cookies

Our website uses only what's needed to work properly — we don't run advertising or tracking cookies. Our payment provider may set cookies during checkout to process your payment securely.

We may update this policy from time to time — the latest version will always be on this page.
